    • Out this week: The Crew, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX, Game of Thrones and more

The barrage of new releases begins to slow down this week, with just three titles heading to retail. Next week is quieter still, with what appears to be the final retail release of the year. If you’re wondering where reviews of The Crew – which launched on Tuesday – are, Ubisoft did provide an explanation. Short version: they didn’t want the press playing it until the severs went live.

  • Review: After Burner Climax

… I apologize if this review seems a bit rushed... that's because it is. You see, there is reason to believe that After Burner Climax may be removed forever from the storefronts of Xbox Live, PSN and the App Store on December 24, 2014, meaning that gamers have less than two weeks to snag the game before this review would officially become a "Retro…

  • Co-Op Release Alert for the Week of 11.23.2014

… Wars 3: Dimensions (PS3, PS4, 360, One, PC) - Geometry Wars was a franchise born inside a racing game, but the title has taken on a life of its own seeing releases on XBLA, DS, Wii, and PC. Now the game comes to Sony's platforms for the first time in a full fledged sequel. Can the game retain the charm it held in its simplicity, or will the changes…

  • Three flying under the radar

…. They should probably get round to doing that soon. Constructor was first released on PC in 1997 and then converted to PlayStation a year later. Although we wouldn’t say that it’s an obscure game – original publisher Acclaim did promote it quite heavily – it still strikes us as an odd choice to dust off as we don’t recall it being particularly good…

  • New This Week in Video Games (11/23 – 11/29)

…, mostly of the digital variety. The only two non-digital games this week happen to be Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth on the Nintendo 3DS and the re-release of Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed on PlayStation 4. The big digital release of the week is the third entry in the Geometry Wars series with Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions across Tuesdays…

  • Review: South Park Pinball

… Any time Zen Studios announces a new pinball table, I find myself giddy with anticipation. Usually Zen teases a table months in advance. This time around, when the South Park tables were announced on the first of the month, there was almost no time for the typical build up of anticipation. Less than two weeks later we were blessed with two…

  • A World of Keflings Steps onto Wii U November 13th

… a creative and surprisingly unique experience. We even reviewed it, and liked it! The Wii U version is digital only and will cost about $10. The PC and XBLA games used player avatars in the game world, and it looks like Miis will make an appearance here, too. A European release hasn't been mentioned just yet. More than 7 million unique users have already…
